Collecting Tips

Collectors of Chicago breweriana face the same challenges as all other
serious collectors of "beer stuff" - There's just not enough space to display everything!

If your collection is in a home where non-collector people live, you may be stuck with limited wall space or have difficulty convincing your significant others about the beauty of breweriana on display.
I offer the following tips to help us collectors slowly infiltrate "off limits" display areas:

Try framing sets of labels or other interesting items to make them more displayable. A professionally matted glass frame can make anything look good!

Wooden beer crates can be used as containers for just about anything. I use mine for record albums. Who else out there still loves vinyl?

Use a colored bulb on lighted signs to hide flaws that would be exposed by brighter white bulbs. Colored bulbs also create a softer look that's easier on the eyes when you have many signs to display.
